X craft erj liveries

These are quite possibly the most detailed Embraer Regional Jet aircraft ever built for any flight simulator. X-Crafts has built upon the years of experience developing our popular EJets, the Embraer E and E regional airliners, and now brings these new models to an entirely new level of simulation and experience! We worked closely with six active or former real world ERJ pilots, whose expertise helped us make these jets as good as we possibly could have made them.

You can read some of their testimonials below. These are actually second generation, version 2 products. The learning curve that came with the development of these jets has helped shape X-Crafts into what it stands for today.

These add-ons are very popular among the flight sim community for their great visuals, reliability and user-friendly level of simulation. Stay tuned as there might be some exciting news about the future of E-Jets coming out soon! I have flown as both the Captain and the First Officer and have over hours in type to date.

I worked closely with Marko to help make the plane as authentic as he could to the best of his ability. Systems, how it flies, make me feel like in the real plane. Enjoy, blue skies and happy tailwinds! In regional aviation for airlines the biggest revolution has been the replacement of seat turboprops with economic new generation jet aircraft. Of these two aircraft companies have dominated in Bombardier Aerospace with their CRJ Series and coming C Series, but the real success story in this regional jet category is the Brazilian Embraer company with their E-Jet family of aircraft.

New Livery Available – Cessna S550 Citation II

These fast efficient modern aircraft have revolutionised the hub and spoke system of aviation networks in that you can today step out of that modern long haul cabin and straight into a regional aircraft cabin of the same standard, space and quality and have the same speed factor than sitting in a droning turboprop for hours. X-Crafts Embraer Aircraft. I was immediately impressed with the quality of X-Craft's design and excellent 3D modelling and an excellent looking aircraft it is.

This Embraer release is the follow up aircraft in the smaller E The equation that is important to remember here is the amount of detail and quality you get for your money. Yes certainly a FlightFactor aircraft gives you an amazing amount of systems and general spectacular features, but it comes at nearly three time the cost of the X-Crafts aircraft and you are not skimming here as the aircraft is very high in quality and has a lot of very good features for a very nice price, it is a very nice aircraft to fly as well as we will find out In X-Plane terms, the E is an excellent, quality aircraft and amazing value compared to aircraft even only a few years ago.

Sitting on the ramp the aircraft simply oozes quality, it is a nice sized and looking aircraft as well. On an aircraft this size I don't think I have seen better detailing, it is extremely well done and detailed. Ribs, latches, handles and pitot probes are all expertly done. Door animation latches as well are excellent for all four fuselage doors and the two lower cargo hatches. The beautiful If you into great engineering GE CFE uprated turbofans are astounding in quality and execution, and the central wing attachment strengthened areas are very well and realistically done.

M-Menu main. The top "M" menu popup covers opening and closing the four fuselage Two front and two rear service doors and the two lower Cargo hatches.

Three other items cover the "Ground Objects" which include chocks, cones and pitot covers. If the box is ticked off you get an "Alert" of the pushback truck is disabled, click the box and the pushback truck appears, we will cover the use of the "P" pushback truck later when we use it. There is a spiral bound checklist book current fad at the moment.

There are eight tabs on the checklist manual covering "Before Start - Startup - After Start - Takeoff - Descent - Landing - Parking and Secouring" All procedures are very clear and precise, and so this is a handy guide to operating the aircraft. Interior and Cockpit. On entering the E the cabin is very well done and two class, only small point is the chairs feel a bit too big a scale and the distance between the chair height and the luggage bins is quite narrow, but you can't fault the detail, nice touch is the rows of seatbelt and no smoking signs above each row when activated.

Both the forward and aft galleys are excellent and really well modeled and detailed, separate highly detailed food carts are the highlight here. Like the outside in the cockpit at first glance it looks exactly like the earlier X-Crafts E LR, but the subtle differences are there, it is better and more detailed, the five display panels are more cleaner, brighter, sharper although that can bring out a little more anti-alias at lower resolutions because the lines are finer It is certainly the new improved version of the last one, but overall the panels look and feel more complete and that feeling is carried through over the whole aircraft.

The Pedestal was beautifully done on the E, and that design has been carried through here as well, and even the rear FMS displays information when programmed, small but welcome details.By StephenMay 22, in Airliners Reviews.

In the review it was in a design and quality sense brilliant in those Pre-PBR less effect X-Plane10 days, and I recognised the huge talent straight away.

But single form developers can be brilliant at one area, in this case the modeling and design, but weak in other areas and that showed with this entry work back then. It created a development race between the two camps, that really none won except the punters with ever growing features and details, both aircraft now from X-Crafts or SSG are certainly worthy investments.

As both E-Jet designs reached their high level then we expected both camps again to go head to head with their next projects.

But they didn't Rumors stated a variant, as the most wanted was the E, many others stated the smaller E, and more the larger E Modeling is exceptional with perfect detailing Roll Royce AE pods and cowling is also perfect and the chrome is very good as well Fan blades are also well proportioned and realistic.

Engine outlet looks actually realistic, lovely tail structure has the lovely APU outlet is in great detail and modeling Finer detail is excellent MENU : is the standard pop-out panel that covers the ground menu Both doors are exceptional, with built in stairs for the main left hand door and the excellent right hand service door I think a ground service stair would be a great addition here. Geeeeze it's really tight in here Cabin detail is very good, but the game has lifted by a fair margin in the back this year, so what was exceptional last year is now just very good The cabin certainly passes the grade, but there isn't the functionality in here that is now moving into this area, like the rear toilet Seat shape feels a little basic, but the important windows and surrounds are excellent.

The cabin is the same really throughout each of the different variant lengths, but with just more or less seats. The Legacy however has the executive lounge layout The level of detail required now at this level can be overwhelming, and somehow developers have to meet that expectation. Certainly this ERJ Series does that X-Crafts have lifted their quality a few bars higher and it shows, and certainly in the area of display resolution.

Centre console is very well done, lovely detail with those pearl throttle levers and gust lock There are some easter eggs set out around the aircraft, read the OHP and you get the X-Crafts credits?

Another feature is the pilots side windows open Five display instrument panel is very good Honeywell Primus Elite Avionics suite is really well done. Map selections are also selectable. Dr Glucks Terrain plugin is also available and it is intergrated into the MAP display very well, but make sure it is the latest version.Following the success of their Embraer and aircraft, they made the "logical next step" in developing their Embraer E-Jets lineup.

They have also stated it will feature their modified Tekton FMS by default. Although no ETA of release has been given as of Augustthe renders looks quite promising!

Here's some of the pictures Courtesy of X-Crafts. Do keep in mind though, that is a render.

It will look different in X-Plane than in a different rendering engine. You can post now and register later.

Embraer ERJ Family by X-Crafts - X-Plane 11

Quantity Add to Cart. These are possibly the most detailed ERJ jets ever built for any flight simulator! The E XR stands for Extra-long Range, numerous aerodynamic improvements, including winglets, strakes, etc. X-Crafts has build on years of experience developing the popular EJets, and now brings these new models to an entire new level of simulation and experience!

We have worked closely with six real ERJ pilots, who's expertise helped us make these jets as good as we possibly could have. You can read some of their testimonials below. The ERJs are often the first jet airliner a pilot gets to fly in his career, so if you want to get a feel of them, this is a great opportunity!

x craft erj liveries

And as they are usually used for regional flights, they are perfect addition to your hangar for your short flights! The ERJs are purposely made to be enjoyed by a flight sim user of any level, whether it is a hardcore flight sim enthusiast, or someone who is looking for their first payware jet! If you already own an X-Crafts product, you'll know that I always focus on making everything as user friendly as possible, to make sure that you have no hiccups while flying! I really want people to have a flawless experience so there is now even a helpsheet plugin which will solve most of your issues without you ever leaving the sim!

Not only did I try to make them behave and look as close to the real thing as I could, I also wanted these to be the most FUN add-ons for XP ever made! You will find that there are over 25 Easter eggs and and references hidden literally all around the airplanes, which even include a treasure hunt!

x craft erj liveries

I can't wait to see who is going to find them all first! But let me speak honestly. This is not my job, this is my hobby, my obsession and my addiction at the same time!

I gave these jets all of my love and blood and sweat over the past two years, because I just wanted to create something awesome that I will love and that others will enjoy flying. Most of the systems are configured like on the real jets based on the input from our real ERJ pilots. The screens are as close to the real thing as I could have made them within my possibilities.

The start up of the avionics is simulated just like in the real jets and it takes a while before everything loads up. It literally takes 3 clicks of a button! Pre-configured systems like on the real plane Realistic Avionics Startup Realistic flight dynamics based on real pilot input and feedback AviTab Integration in the cockpit.

I'm a VFX artist in real life, so I'm used to creating photo-real assets. Although I am limited by the XP rendering capabilities and your hardware, I tried to make it look and perform as good as I could :. Main and service doors can also be opened by clicking on the levers. You'll find that there is an amazing level of detail, for example dust particles on the screens visible when light shines on them, finger prints on buttons, and if you zoom in really close to the screens you will even see individual pixels on the actual screens.

I tried to make sure that the cockpit looks realistically worn out and used as it would based on how much these jets are used! This means all clickable areas in the cockpit are very big so that you can easily click on any button, knob or lever in the cockpit Each switch, lever, knob, and handle is animated All cockpit lights are controllable exactly as on the real jets, even the screens shine light on their surroundings Includes baggage bay door light.Home Discussions Workshop Market Broadcasts.

Change language. Install Steam. Store Page. Global Achievements. Does anyone know whether the McPhat payware liveries will work for these aircraft in Steam? I've tried some freeware liveries from about the same era e. Air Canada which load ok but the textures are just way too dark to be useable. Showing 1 - 8 of 8 comments. Pieloth View Profile View Posts. No problem so far, but never tried mc phat textures. If you give a link to a free texture you have issue with, I can give a try.

An example of freeware liveries that load but end up with one side of the airplane being way too dark, flightsim. Thx for the guide advice, I did use it successfully for the planes it loads, but it doesnt' resolve the dark texture problem for other freewared. Any help appreciated. I'd be happy to purchase the mcphat liveries if they work. Kabacus View Profile View Posts.

It could be DX10 preview if that is enabled. I turned on DX10 preview but the problem persists: one side of the aircraft is too dark. Ok, so took at this texture, and it turns out this is a FS texture made for the Embraer v1, for FS9. C-FMZZ delete the previous one with same name you installed previously. This texture folder contains the default Embraer livery. There's a file named: thumb. Enjoy the E Air Canada!
